All real human hair sheds. Just like your natural hair loses a few strands daily, the same can happen with luxury hair. This doesn’t mean the hair is low quality — it simply means the cuticles are real and intact. Raw hair has not been chemically sealed, steamed or coated with silicone, so you may notice a few strands during the first brush or wash. This is completely natural.

 

How Much Shedding Is Normal?

A few strands here and there — especially during the first brush-through — is completely normal.
You may also notice 1–3 strands occasionally throughout the week. This is the same behaviour as natural human hair.

Shedding becomes unusual when:

  • Large clumps come out at once

  • Hair becomes thin quickly

  • Shedding continues heavily even after gentle brushing

Raw Vietnamese hair rarely behaves this way unless it has been damaged through installation or harsh products.
